Dane Saksa currently serves as the Director of Non-Operating Room Anesthesia at the University of California, Los Angeles Health System. He is a general anesthesiologist with a clinical focus in advanced interventional radiology procedures, interventional gastroenterology procedures, and obstetric anesthesia. His research interests are primarily related to quality improvement and clinical operational efficiency, leveraging his dual training in medicine and business.

Dane grew up in Wichita, Kansas before completing his undergraduate degree in Human Biology at Stanford University and receiving an MD and MBA from Columbia University. He completed residency training at UCLA where he now remains on faculty. Serving as an active member of the NORA Society over the past several years has been an extremely educational experience and provided a meaningful national network to partner with and learn from.
