Cristian Bartoc, MD is the Director of Anesthesia in Interventional Radiology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Director of Anesthesia Education at LIJMC and NSUH and Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
After graduating from Carol Davila Medical School in Romania he did research in cardiac surgery outcomes and completed an anesthesia residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt in New York, followed by a cardiac fellowship at Columbia University. He is interested in resident and medical student education, environmental sustainability in healthcare, OR/hospital efficiency and practices, wellness (for physicians and patients), and increasing patient involvement in their care and end of life decisions.
