Candace Chang, MD, MPH is the director of NORA at the University of Utah and an assistant professor of Anesthesiology. After medical school at UCSF and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, she spent several years in private practice before returning to academic medicine. She is most interested in patient safety, especially the use of simulation, crisis resource management, protocol and guideline development, education, and a systems approach to quality improvement.
