Hedi Schroeck MD
Hedwig “Hedi” Schroeck is the Vice Chair of Anesthesiology Quality and Safety and Director of Moderate Sedation at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH (USA). Her academic interests include workload and stressors for anesthesia providers delivering care in non-operating room anesthesia (NORA) locations and interprofessional teamwork during periprocedural care. On a national level, Dr. Schroeck has been an active member of the NORA society since 202, and serves as a member of the APSF Patient Safety Priority Advisory Group for NORA since 2025.
Hedwig Schroeck completed her medical school training in Munich, Germany. She received her anesthesiology residency and pediatric anesthesia fellowship training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC. She has previously held faculty positions at the University of North Carolina and the University of Michigan (Mott Children’s Hospital).
